Here’s What’s Happening This Sunday at The Lord’s Glory Church! – 9/16/07

This Sunday’s service at 10:30AM is going to be an anointed and powerfulservice! The message this Sunday morning by PastorBrandon is entitled: “An Overcoming Life!” Come and learn four importantways we as believers can overcomethe fiery darts that satan throws our way!These life-changing keys willteach us how to more effectively use the weaponry God has given us in His Word to soundly overcome the enemy! Also this Sunday, as the adults and teensare ministered to in our main sanctuary, here’s what will be happening in our children’s church!

  • The 0-3’s will be taught the Word through their new Veggie Tales curriculum!
  • The 4-7’s will be learning from the Old Testament aboutBaby MosesandGod’s care and protection that is over our lives asHis children!
  • The 8-12’s will betaughtthe Word using their new “Agents in Action” curriculum!

God is doing awesome things in our childrens’ lives in these classes! Don’t forget as well to feel free to join us before the main service in the Bronkema Building for our discipleship class at 9:30AM called: “Commissioned With Power” -a phenomenal course on the Gifts of the Spirit.There is something awesome in store for your whole family at The Lord’s Glory Church this Sunday morning! This Tuesday Night 9/4/07 at 7:00PM at The Lord’s Glory Church- Message Entitled:”Old Testament Types of the Rapture”

Tuesday night’s message is entitled Old Testament Types Of The Rapture. It is important that we anticipate with excitement the coming of the Lord! Two of these Old Testament foreshadows of the Rapture are referred back to by Jesus Himself. In addition to those, we’ll be digging four more nuggets on the Rapture from the rich mines of the Old Testament.

You and Your Family Are Invited!

RSVP Today for our Next Adoption Fellowship Meeting – Saturday, Sept. 15th, from 4 to 6 PM – Theme: " Ways to Celebrate Your Child's Heritage

Whether you are still waiting to adopt or have adopted internationally already,allare encouraged to bring something from their child's country of heritage to show to the group. It can be a book about their country, a food item, a toy, a CD of music, etc..We will enjoy each other's company and share ideas that God has given to each of us regarding ways to incorporate the celebration of our child's ethnic culture into our family's lives. If you cannot bring anything, come anyway. No one should feel pressured at all if they cannot bring an item with them.

As always there will be plenty of food, and we will finish our time together with prayer.

Regarding the food, we will provide all of the beverages, and ask that each family bring a snack food. Since we are celebrating heritage, feel free to bring a food from your child's country of origin if you want to, but do not feel pressured if this would be too difficult to do. Anything you bring will be appreciated.

A Powerful Sunday Morning 9/2/07 at The Lord’s Glory Church! – Message by Pastor Tom Entitled: “Ending Strife”

This Sunday's serviceat 10:30AM is going to be an anointed and powerfulservice! This Sunday is Family Communion Sunday & the message this Sunday morning by Pastor Tom is entitled: " Ending Strife Come and learn important keys to keeping strife out of your life! You will leave this service strengthened and encouraged in your walk with God and better equipped in your relationship with Him and with others!

Also this Sunday, as the adults, 8-12 year olds, and teensare ministered to in our main sanctuary, here's what will be happening in our children's church!

The 0-3's and 4-7's will be learning from the Old Testament about King Joash and the rebuilding of God’s Temple. Continuing along the same theme as last week they will learn the importance of obeying God when He speaks to them, and letting Him teach and instruct them in His plans for their lives.

Don't forget as well to feel free to join us before the main service in the Bronkema Building for our discipleship class at 9:30AM called: " Commissioned With Power -a phenomenal course on the Gifts of the Spirit.
